ACE Community Sessions are vibrant, welcoming hubs where young people aged 8–15 can discover the joy of cricket – completely free of charge. Designed to be fun, inclusive, and accessible, these weekly sessions offer a safe space to learn, play, and grow under the guidance of experienced coaches who are passionate about nurturing talent and building confidence.
Whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, our sessions are open to all. No equipment is needed—just bring your energy, wear comfortable clothes, and get ready to join a community that celebrates teamwork, personal development, and the power of sport.
Our programme
Community hubs have been organised and set up to provide local youngster with fun and convenient environments to learn about the game. Through these sessions, they will learn more about cricket and take part in fun activities.
Our highly qualified and experienced coaches take the time to teach and develop players skills and abilities at each community session and assist in each individuals personal development. All coaches are available to participants during the session for advice and guidance in whatever they need.
What to expect
All community sessions are run weekly and completely free of charge for all youngsters aged 8 to 15 years to attend. There is no need to bring any equipment as the coaching team will provided everything that will be needed for the session. But if you have a favourite bat or ball, feel free to bring it along! Just come along wearing comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear and you’ll be ready to join in the fun!
Due to weather, events and any other unforeseeable circumstances, it is advised to use the contact details published on the flyers to confirm sessions before attending for the first time. Staff will then be able to confirm sessions for you and keep you updated going forth.
